In this critical role, the Sr Benefits Specialist (EMEA) will be responsible for managing the benefits function across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations while maximizing cost efficiency and employee engagement. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of benefits administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Design, implement, and manage comprehensive benefit programs for EMEA employees in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent benefits strategy across the region.
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee the administration of benefit plans.
Provide expert advice and guidance on benefits-related matters to employees, managers, and HR partners.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of all benefit-related transactions, including enrollments, claims, and terminations.
Stay abreast of changes in benefits legislation, industry best practices, and emerging trends to proactively adapt the benefits strategy as needed.
Partner with the global benefits team to develop and implement standardized processes and tools for managing benefits effectively and efficiently.
Conduct regular benefit communications to employees, ensuring they are well-informed about their entitlements and how to access them.
Monitor benefits expenses and identify areas for cost savings while maintaining a high level of service for employees.
Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the benefits program and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, GBA) is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in benefits administration, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
Proven expertise in managing comprehensive benefit programs across multiple geographies, ideally within the EMEA region.
Strong knowledge of local benefits laws and regulations across various EMEA countries.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex benefits concepts clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and service delivery.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and experience using benefits administration software.
